Rome was a whirlwind of sightseeing! The city is just what you would imagine a historical city filled with ruins to look like. Some highlights are:
The Trevi Fountain at night
Tartufo
(Chocolate gelato with cherries, chocolate shavings, and whipped cream)
The Colosseum
The Vatican, Sistine Chapel, & St Peter’s Basilica
Along with fun with friends
And watching the sun rise out of my hotel balcony!

again the memories are coming back! i bet the Trevi fountain looked great at night. i saw it during the day time and it was kinda packed. i hope you threw a penny over your shoulder for luck!
the colosseum was nuts! i remember standing in there (actually wearing the same sun dress im wearing now haha) and looking over the whole thing and thinking about how many games were played and people killed there. how weird!
youre not supposed to take pictures in the sistine chapel you n00b! but wasnt it so cool?! i remember looking at the curtains and even though they were painted on, they looked so real it was crazy!
ahh i know youre having a great time! just think of the bright florida sun and the awesome view of the water youre going to get when you see the new house. youre summer is too good to be true!
